Shoot at anything in line of sight — ceilings, walls, the floor. Blow holes through cover or collapse structures on enemies.

Missed shots still matter. Taking fire reduces enemy action points. Stack fire from multiple units to freeze a target completely.

Real-Time Equipment Sharing

Toss unprimed grenades and spare magazines to squadmates mid-fight. A pinned sniper gets ammo without breaking cover.

When does Mars Tactics release?

Late 2026 on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. Originally planned for May 2026 — delayed for polishing based on playtester feedback.

Is it single-player or multiplayer?

Primarily single-player with a full campaign for each faction. No multiplayer confirmed yet.

Who is making it?

Takibi Games (developer), published by Hooded Horse — the same publisher behind Manor Lords and Against the Storm.

How different are the two factions?

Completely different — separate tech trees, units, weapons, economic models, and victory conditions. It's almost two games in one.

Is it like XCOM?

Yes — turn-based tactical combat on a grid. But with a full grand strategy layer on top: base building, supply chains, diplomacy, and emergent economics.
